The Children’s Day Unit (Short Stay Paediatric Assessment Unit) at Eastbourne District General Hospital are organising a charity event on Saturday the 2nd of Sept 10:30 – 2:00pm. With the aim of raising funds for much needed patient equipment ready for when the newly refurbished Children’s Day Unit re-opens this Winter.

This event will involve a fancy dress superhero walk along Eastbourne seafront, with both employees and members of the public and then meeting on Western Lawns for entertainment and refreshments.

We would be very grateful for any support towards this very worthy cause, to help make a positive impact on our patient’s experience when they attend the Children’s Day Unit.

More details will follow regarding the charity event and specific patient equipment that the money raised will fund.
