The Old Vicarage at Firle is the third of our gardens in this year’s Open Garden programme. Nestled in the heart of the South Downs, this is a traditional English country garden. Even if you have visited before don’t miss the chance to see how the owners are gradually making changes to reflect the effects of climate change and the growing awareness of gardens being in harmony with nature.
For directions, follow the A27 towards Brighton and take the left turn to Firle. Follow the Open Garden signs where you will find off road parking.
The gardens are open in all weather and entry is by donation. The Friends volunteers will be selling tickets for the raffle, and manning refreshment stalls. Dogs, unfortunately, are not allowed at the Open Gardens.
