Autumn Art Exhibition and Sale of Paintings

This year we celebrate our 21st Annual Art Exhibition, and are very grateful to St. Andrew’s Prep who  have invited us once again to stage this event in their Durlacher Theatre from October 24-25, 2026.

We are hoping to have a large display of paintings for sale. In 2025, 67 local artists entered a total of 326 paintings which were displayed on stands; and on the stage was a display of some of the St. Andrew’s pupils’ works of art. So do come along to the school and enjoy the show.

We are delighted that Terry Henson, Art Historian, has kindly agreed to give a talk on Eric Ravilious on Saturday at 2.00 p.m. And on Sunday afternoon, Ian Parratt, the well-known caricaturist, has kindly agreed to create caricatures of visitors to the Exhibition.

A small hanging fee of £5 per picture and a donation of 20% of the selling price will go towards our 2026 Major Fundraising Project, to raise £582K for essential equipment in both the Cardiology and Ophthalmology Departments of the DGH.
