Recently, the Friends have been the very grateful recipient of funds raised from a cake sale, a quiz night, a golf day, a BIG picnic, a swoove-a-thon, a football match, an open air concert and for the first time , a 100 Challenge – undertaken by the children of West Rise School who each thing an activity to perform 100 times in order to raise money and thank the DGH for the care given to a seriously ill member of staff.
