Thank you to The Royal Connaught Lodge 2676

As 2022 draws to a close, we will soon announce, officially, that we achieved our Major Fundraising Project for the year – a target of £500,000 towards the replacement Da Vinci Robot in Urology. It took the entire community, and we are grateful to every single person, club or business who donated.

We were delighted to welcome representatives from The Royal Connaught Lodge 2676 to the hospital to meet consultant urologist Peter Rimmington, and to present their generous donation of £1000 to Friends Chairman Harry Walmsley.

David Maynard told us that The Royal Connaught Lodge had been quite busy fundraising for the Friends, and this project in particular, and indeed that the Masons nationally are the second biggest donors to charity after the National Lottery.

Our sincere gratitude goes to The Royal Connaught Lodge for supporting this vital project.
