By 10am on Saturday 4th November, the stalls were set up, the kettles were boiled, the raffle team were ready, and the doors at St John’s Parish Hall in Meads opened for our Autumn Fair. We saw sales of books, gifts, cakes, stamps, seasonal specialities, and not to mention plenty of tea and coffee. The atmosphere was wonderful, with a lovely, conversational buzz throughout, and happy shoppers leaving with bulging bags of gifts and goodies. We thank everyone who came and supported, our super stall holders, and all the volunteers who came along to help. The event raised £1,780.
