It was our final fundraiser of the year, and what a fabulous way to finish! Against the beautiful backdrop of twinkling Christmas lights, we Dined Around the World at the Thai Marina on December 1st. The atmosphere was magical, the staff were superb and the food was, as always, exquisite. The evening raised £731.50 from ticket and raffle sales, and we thank everyone who came to dine with us, and the team at the Thai Marina for such splendid service.
A sell-out event, every place had been booked within the first few days after announcing the date and we apologise to those who expressed disappointment at having missed out, or indeed those who may not even have seen the announcement as we quickly had to stop advertising due to the full booking. We are already finalising the details of our next event, due to take place in March at Dem Shish, and will circulate the details as soon as possible.
