The Friends of Eastbourne Hospital’s Major Project for 2024 is to raise £500k for a new Gamma Camera for the DGH.

To help us understand exactly what this is, and how it will improve the diagnosis and treatment of cancer across Eastbourne and the surrounding areas, the Friends will be holding a free education talk, led by the Radiology Department, on the science and significance of this new scanner.

The event will last one hour, and be held in the Lecture Theatre of the DGH. Refreshments and discussion will follow the talk.
